Coast Foundation Society's 2010 Annual General Meeting

Coast is pleased to announce that David Granirer and his group "Stand Up for Mental Health" will be performing at Coast’s 2010 Annual General Meeting.

Stand up for Mental Health teaches stand up comedy to people with mental illness as a way of building their confidence and fighting public stigma, prejudice, and discrimination. The shows look at the lighter side of taking meds, seeing counsellors, getting diagnosed, and surviving the mental health system. How to get there: The Roundhouse Community Centre is within walking distance from the Yaletown-Roundhouse Canada Line Skytrain station. From the Skytrain Davie Street exit, turn left and walk one block to Pacifc Boulevard. The entrance to the centre is off Pacific Boulevard.
