
The Dreamweaver Women’s program is designed for 22 women with co-occurring issues in areas of mental health, substance use, physical health issues and behavior related to traumatizing life circumstances.
The Reasons Way Men’s program is designed for 22 men with co-occurring issues in areas of mental health, substance use, physical health issues and behavior that may be related to traumatizing life circumstances.
The 44 beds compliment services offered at the 100-bed Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addictions, which opened in 2008. Admitted clients possess more complex issues and require longer stabilization. Both programs provide a comprehensive array of services that are trauma-informed and strength-based. The programs offers ongoing support and assessment, crisis intervention, life skills building, drug and alcohol counseling, coordinated psychiatric and medical treatment, resource coordination and advocacy, peer run services and other programs needed for each individual.
