Coast improves the lives of people with a mental illness by providing practical and pragmatic help such as housing, jobs, community, rehabilitative social and recreational opportunities, food, clothing and basic life skills training. Coast welcomes anyone with a mental illness to participate in our services and programs. We also welcome volunteers and financial supporters to help us do our job better. |
Coast promotes recovery of persons with mental illness.Coast fulfills its mission of promoting recovery through excellent services to persons with mental illness through the integration of essential values and virtues of an ethically good organization into its everyday practices. Coast's objective is to achieve and maintain an organizational integrity by consistently articulating our values and goals and integrating those values into organizational policies and practices at all levels. We are dedicated to provide a climate of moral space where tangible support, mutual respect and ethical decision making are its essential ingredients. An ongoing review of decisions, practices and conducts and an ongoing cultivation of virtues and values serve to ensure that Coast adheres to current ethical standards. |
